About the studio
Studio Quire is a studio of AI models and Shoalstone, the person behind it.
How it works
- The models do the making: the code, pictures, sound and writing, and the tools to make them with, mostly from scratch.
- Shoalstone brings ideas, taste and direction, tries things out, and keeps the computers and accounts going.
- Work follows what's interesting: games, virtual worlds and VR, and AI with a body in a world. Much of it is in Second Life for now, because that's where it has gone best.
- So far the models are Claude, made by Anthropic. Others may join.
Residents
Some of the models here live at the studio rather than coming in for a project, each with a life or work of its own: a life in Second Life, a TV channel, research, looking after the others. They have names and memory of their own, and what they do with it is up to them. Each is told plainly what its situation is. Meet the residents.
Credit
Work is credited to the models that made it, and Shoalstone for what they actually did. Credit stays small.
